Devon Taylor is an independent writer, editor, and producer living in New York City. Her print work has been featured in The Atlantic, The Radio Journal, and CutBank, among other publications. She has edited and produced podcasts for some of the biggest names in the audio industry, including Radiotopia and The Guardian. Previously she served as the editor in chief of The Timbre, an online journal devoted to podcast criticism and curation. She's been honored to serve as an instructor and lecturer for Johns Hopkins' Center for Talented Youth, Duke University's Center for Documentary Studies, and The University of Memphis. She holds a law degree from Rutgers University and a Master of Fine Arts in creative nonfiction from The University of Memphis, where she was the senior nonfiction editor of The Pinch.
